Adopted Store - Vons in La Verne

Saturday, August 27, more than fifty community supporters held a funeral procession for "Good Jobs" through the La Verne Vons grocery store. The big three grim reapers were there, Ralphs, Albertsons, and Vons leading the procession. MoveOn.org and community members continue to send delegations to the San Gabriel Valley grocery stores to pressure the corporations to settle a fair contract.
